It's not just a piece of jewelry. Opening a package from Shy Siren is meant to be an experience of anticipation + delight, of the possibilities + imagination.
Each jewelry design is beautifully presented with the same intention + attention that went into creating the piece. Opening a package from Shy Siren is an experience of anticipation + delight to the recipient!
All jewelry items are tucked into a sheer organza bag (plum or pewter), and placed into a glossy white jewelry gift box with the Shy Siren signature label. The gift box presentation is completed with a sheer pewter ribbon bow.
PLEASE NOTE: In an effort to reduce excess packaging waste and increased shipping costs, I may combine multiple items into one gift box. If you would like separate gift boxes, please just let me know & I will be very happy to accommodate!
RETURNS and EXCHANGES:
I want you to love the pieces you buy at the Shy Siren shop. If you're not absolutely delighted, please contact me within 10 days of receipt to coordinate an exchange or refund. I'll need to receive your item back within 21 days of your receipt (3 weeks).
Please send your items back to me in the original protective and gift packaging via a trackable courier (USPS/UPS/FedEx). Please also consider purchasing tracking and insurance, as I am not responsible for items lost or damaged in the return transit back to me.
Sorry, shipping charges on the original order are not refundable, unless it was my error.
If a mistake is made on my end with your order, or if an item was received damaged, I will gladly provide you with a pre-paid shipping label for the return back to me, and we will coordinate either a replacement or a refund! Otherwise, shipping of your return or exchange is the responsibility of the customer.
To be eligible for a full return (minus shipping costs), your item must be unused/unworn/unaltered and in the same condition in which you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
If the returned item(s) is visibly worn, used, altered or damaged by customer or without complete packaging, a re-stocking fee of 20% - 50% will be assessed based on the return condition, unless we have otherwise discussed and agreed on a solution PRIOR to the return.

DUE TO COVID: Please allow a few extra days for USA delivery and an extended time for International delivery. I truly appreciate your patience during this unprecedented time for our Planet.
MOST ORDERS ship within 1-3 business days (Monday through Friday) of your order. Some items have a longer lead time (3-5 business days or 7-10 business days), and I do my best to show this lead time in the item description.
All standard shipments are shipped via United States Postal Service (USPS) First Class Domestic & International (Worldwide). USA shipments include tracking and delivery confirmation. USA tracking numbers can be followed online at the USPS website.
PLEASE NOTE: If your order is over $200 USD and shipping to the USA, I may opt to ship your order with Signature Required. This is at no extra cost to you, but to ensure a secure delivery of your order. Thank you for your understanding.

USA Sales Tax: I must charge sales tax on orders shipped to North Carolina (NC), where my studio is located. Because of various fulfillment warehouses across the USA, I must also collect sales tax from customers located in: California, Florida, Tennessee, Pennsylvania & Kentucky.
IMPORTANT: International orders are considered Delivered At Place (DAP). This term indicates that the Shy Siren only takes responsibility for shipping the product, and requires the customer to pay any import costs, such as VAT, duties, and clearing fees due to or incurred by the import of merchandise into their country.
International shipments can not be marked as "Gifts" for the purposes of avoiding Customs fees or tariffs upon import to your country.
Please allow approx. 2-3 weeks for the delivery of your order from the time of shipment. ***DUE TO COVID, PLEASE ALLOW ADDITIONAL TIME FOR DELIVERY.***
Shy Siren will NOT be liable for ANY Customs charges. If you refuse delivery of your package because of import taxes, customs duties or fees, Shy Siren reserves the right to charge for the return cost of the parcel. This amount will be deducted from your refund once the item is received & inspected by Shy Siren.
