A Note about our Handcrafted Items:
Each of the items on the Shy Siren web site is handcrafted by us: Sara, Anita and Amy (Belle Bags). This means that each item is unique, and may have slight variations from piece to piece. Please accept this as one of the beautiful features of owning a special piece from Shy Siren and Belle Bags. Also, many of our items are limited in quantity, and we while we attempt to keep our web site as accurate and up-to-date as possible, we may sell out of a particular design.
We have made every effort to display accurate colors in the photographs on this web site, however, due to numerous variations in the settings of your monitor, we can not guarantee that the colors that you view on your screen are the exact colors of the items.
We want you and your gift recipient to be thrilled with your Shy Siren purchase. If for some reason you are not completely happy with your purchase, please contact us at returns@shysiren.com within 15 days of the receipt of your order, and we will arrange to exchange your purchase. Your return merchandise must be received back to us within 21 days upon receipt of your order.
- NON-HOLIDAY ORDERS: Within 15 days of receipt of your order, we will gladly exchange your gift for another item available at Shy Siren, or for a merchandise credit for a future purchase at ShySiren.com. After 15 days, all sales are considered final. Your return merchandise must be received back to us within 21 days upon receipt of your order. The shipping and handling charge is not refundable. Custom or customized orders are not refundable or returnable (including monogramming). Please also note that some items labeled "Special Occasion - Not Returnable" can not be returned for exchange at Shy Siren.
- HOLIDAY ORDERS (Orders placed between Nov 25th - Dec. 25th): Orders that are placed for holiday gift-giving are granted an extension of the 15-day return period. Holiday gifts may be returned to us by Jan. 15th after the holiday session for an exchange of other merchandise or a merchandise credit at ShySiren.com. After Jan. 15th, all sales are considered final. Custom or customized orders are not refundable or returnable. Please also note that some items labeled "Special Occasion - Not Returnable" can not be returned for exchange at Shy Siren.
- Please email us at returns@shysiren.com BEFORE returning items stating the order number, which item(s) you'd like to return, and the reason. We will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number via email as soon as possible. We will not process items without an RMA number.
- Merchandise must be in the original, clean, unused condition. Used, unclean or damaged items can not be accepted.
- Merchandise must be carefully packed in a sturdy box with the original packaging. NOTE: We will not accept or take responsibility for goods lost or damaged in return shipping back to us.
Once we receive your package, we will email you to let you know that we have received the item, and how to use your merchandise credit. Please contact us at returns@shysiren.com for the return mailing address. If the item you received was damaged, defective or incorrect, we will be happy to provide you with a prepaid shipping label for your use.
Shipping & Handling Costs: Please also allow 5 to 7 business days (excluding holidays) for the delivery of your package via the U.S. Postal Service. Important Information about Delivery Policies:
Our packages are shipped via U.S. Postal Service with Delivery Confirmation. Packages with a value of $150 or more may be shipped with Insurance and/or Signature Required.
NOTE: Packages under 13 ounces may be shipped via USPS First Class Mail. Packages 13 ounces and over will be shipped via USPS Priority.
International Orders and Shipping:
Many Shy Siren jewelry designs are available at the Shy Siren shop on Etsy.com, with easy world-wide shipping options! At this time, we do not offer International Shipping services through the ShySiren.com web site, due to the highly-varied cost of shipping of our jewelry and handbags.
All international payments will be handled through PayPal. The customer is responsible for any and all taxes and tariffs due to Customs. We reserve the right not to ship to all locations.
Lead Times for Our Handmade Products:
Each and every item at Shy Siren is hand-crafted, and often to-order. To allow for the preparation of your special piece, please note that orders received Monday through Friday will generally be shipped within two to three business days. Many items may require a longer lead time (such as handbags and intricate jewelry), and the lead times of these items are generally noted on the web site.
Rush Orders:
Shy Siren may be able to offer rush delivery for in-stock items at an additional charge over our regular shipping charges. Please email us at info@shysiren.com to be sure that your item is in stock, and available for a rush delivery. Please provide the mailing address so that we can provide you with an accurate expedited delivery quote. We will email you back with the additional cost.
Important: Please note that although an item may be in-stock available for Rush Delivery, we may require 1 business day for the preparation of your order. We will advise you of the ship date in our response.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. Please contact us if you would like to pay with PayPal and we can arrange to send you a PayPal invoice for your order.

Please contact us about Gift Certificates and we can arrange to mail your Gift Certificate or send your gift recipient a Virtual eGift Certificate via email.
Using a Promotional Code:
Promotion codes offer you discounts on purchases or shipping. If you have a code, you will need to input the code into the "Promotion Code" box during the checkout. You will see the amount of the deduction on the order form.

To show our thanks for your support, each and every item purchased from ShySiren.com earns Reward Points. It's just one of the benefits of a ShySiren.com account, which you can open during check-out or in 'My Account'.
Each point is worth $1 toward a future ShySiren.com purchase.
You may use your points on your very next Shy Siren order - no need to wait for a minimum point balance to accumulate. Points are easy to redeem: just apply your points to your next online order during the checkout process.
You must have an account at ShySiren.com in order to accumulate points. Points are redeemable only at ShySiren.com and are not redeemable for cash. If an item is returned, the rewarded point value of that item will be deducted from your account. The Reward Points program was initiated on June 2, 2009; sorry, points cannot be retro-actively applied to your account.
Shy Siren charges sales tax to all orders shipped within the state of North Carolina.
Jewelry purchases at ShySiren.com are beautifully presented in a gift box -- free-of-charge -- perfect for sending as a gift, or for treating yourself to something special.
Our deluxe Shy Siren signature gift presentation of a translucent pillow-box tied with pink and magenta sheer organza ribbons is available for an additional $2.50 during the check-out process. Please note that some Belle Bags items cannot be gift-wrapped.
